“WHO VIEWED HIS COIN RIGHT?” is a research based leadership resource centered on importance of learning and execution process that achieves results. In the book, the author laid emphasis on leadership and execution as an act of seeing, doing and achieving. Thus, he furthers discussed the emotional and mental blindness that must be avoided and the kinds of eye-openers that must be embraced before making any vital decision. STATEMENT The research-based business and inspirational book, Who Viewed His Coin Right? is written in two broad parts (A and B). Part A is a narration – a story centered on paradigm shift and Part B is a lesson material put together to further expound on the story. STORY The tale is a fable created from the true life story and the two major characters in the story are Fate and Faith, who are eager to know the “coin” in their life and desire to use it judiciously. Funny enough, all human beings exhibit either of these two character traits at any point in time on our goals or objectives. “Coin” is a metaphor for what you want or have in life – purpose, goals, and objectives. “Spectacles” are instrument we use to see the “coin” clearer and better, which also informs our actions and performances. That is, the thinking pattern, paradigm, perception, initiative or attitude towards what is to be done. LESSON This shows that life is all about learning, the more you learn, the better you become. Life is full of many unconscious teachers who do not know they are passing knowledge or skills to you, but is a tragedy for you to be an unconscious learner who does not know they are teaching him or her certain lessons of life needed in future. As a conscious coach cannot help an unconscious learner you must consciously take the position of a learner who wants to become noble in his undertaking. DISCOVERY Leadership pyramid is drawn, which reveals process of growth in leadership in any organization from “Level 0 Leadership” to “Level 5 Leadership” and the link between two levels of leadership is learning. Having realized the difference between the successful and the failures is the coach under whom they acquire knowledge or skills, the author puts down the coaching continuum and the Palm Coaching Model, which show how nobility and ignobility can be transferred to learners using illustration of five fingers to explain the five typical personalities in the training center: -The one that has no training. -The one that criticizes, rebuffs or rejects the training. -The one that has the training but applies it wrongly. -The one that has the training and applies it correctly. -Their trainer, who is also their teacher, coach or mentor. “The book is a timely and monumental work needed in this more threatened world with insecurity and varied turbulence, which leaders at all levels must add to their libraries. It is a sterling compendium of astute, thoughtful, realistic, and a very noble advice for the executives and all business people; given strong oppositions and threats within their immediate environment and wrong predictions of the so-called wise men of the world. It is a practical guide to the upper level of leadership and management. I highly recommend it.” – Tunde Savage FCA, FCTI, Chairman, Guinness Nigeria PLC, Regional Coordinator for Africa, International Chamber of Commerce. “This book is an in-depth insight on life experiences; Lucky Ehizojie’s blending and mastery of literary words make it possible for whoever reads it to connect it to their everyday life and use it as a tool in navigating issues they face as human beings. I recommend it for all.” – Bunmi Ekundare, Director of Human Capital, Intel Inc. California. “Thanks for the link… well done for the great work done. It’s a mixture of literary and life coaching work. It’s also very deeply profound.” – Shina Ogunbiyi FMCA, FWACS, mni, Major General and Commander, Nigeria Army Medical Corps, Associate Prof. of Anaesthesia, KASU.
